  • Monument Valley Marathon 5/17/08 - 5/18/08
    The Monument Valley 1/2 Marathon, 10K Relay and 5K Fun Run is a two day event scheduled to start from the Totem Poles, Rain God Mesa and end at the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park. Runners from throughout the United States are invited to participate.
  • The first 250 entries will receive a T-Shirt.
  • We are still accepting registrations and will continue to take entries until the day of the event.
  • We will also take on-site registrations, the day of the event.
  • All registrations will be accepted at all Navajo Tribal Parks, see List of Parks above for locations.
  • 1/2 Marathon Family Special: 1st family member pays $80 registration fee, 1/2 off any additional family member thereafter. (Ex: Dad's fee is $80, Son's fee is $40, Sister's fee is $40, etc.)

  • Monument Valley Hot Air Balloon Rally 12/12/08 - 12/14/08
    A three day event will be planned for December 2008. The event will be co-produced with a local balloon company that offers a unique marketing program, which will ensure a successful annual event. A combined advertisement campaign will commence in the summer of 2008. We will invite a limited number of balloonists to this event; it will be by invitation only.

GRAND OPENING OF THE VIEW HOTEL in late 2008

The View Hotel will feature exclusive arts and jewelry designed by Native American designers, along with memoribilia from the history of Monument Valley, from ancient artifacts to Hollywood pictures shot on location.

  • Drums of Summer : July 10, 2008 - all day
    You and your families are cordially invited to join us on July 10th at Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Visitor Center for fun-filled activities. For all ages, we will in morning with live music, exhibit health screens, trade show, and more events such as song & dances from various tribes. Special recognition includes: Elders, Veterans and local Officials. Give away prizes every hour and lastly Fourth of July Fireworks display. KTNN live remote on Drums of Summer. Come one, come all.... meet your old friends and make new ones.
